Julian Wais

Director

Julian has worked on a retained basis with a number of FTSE250 and AIM-listed companies. He has worked closely with management teams to provide a full-service Investor Relations function to improve communication with the market, enhance investor outreach, as well as deliver successful capital raises and acquisitions, among other activities. In addition, he has worked on a number of projects for clients to provide short-term cover for delivery of results, support through takeover and to provide investor feedback surveys.
Prior to joining CEN, Julian had nearly 25 years of IR experience in industry across the FTSE 100, the FTSE 250 and Small Cap companies. He joined CEN from TT Electronics plc, where he led IR and Communications. Prior to this, Julian spent over 13 years as Director of IR at Cobham plc. He also led IR at Severn Trent Plc. Julian has extensive experience across the range of in-house IR activities including M&A, divestments, equity raises, hostile situations and profit warnings. He is the winner of multiple sector awards and was previously on the membership committee of the Investor Relations Society. Prior to transitioning to Investor Relations, he qualified as an accountant and worked in various finance roles, in audit and in FTSE 100 companies. He also has a degree in History from the University of Warwick and subsequently qualified as an accountant.
