CLIENT REQUIREMENTS
CEN was commissioned to write and model an internal Transition Plan and path to net zero, projecting Scopes 1, 2 and 3 to 2050. The engagement was also designed around enhancing the group's understanding of its potential and future levers in achieving its decarbonisation objectives.
OUR APPROACH
Over the course of the engagement our team conducted extensive desktop research and used internal stakeholder and expert engagement to model reductions and predict the emissions profile for the next 25 years. We worked closely with the sustainability team to develop a detailed action plan and ensure that the resulting Transition Plan report is fully aligned with TPT guideline requirements.
OUTCOME AND DELIVERABLES
We delivered a comprehensive reduction path for all emissions in scope, including recommendations for the improvement in GHG Scope 3 reductions, that were relevant for the business. The Transition Plan was supported by well-documented growth and reduction plan data for future client use.
